Marine Invasive Species Rapid Assessment

Coordinate and train citizen scientists in partnership with professional experts to conduct rapid assessments of invasive species in New England coastal waters, including species identification, sampling methods, data treatment, and sample preservation protocols. This effort is part of a long-running multi-year project characterizing trends in marine invasive species population change over time in the Northeastern US.

Purpose
