Coastal Blue Carbon

Engage and train citizen scientists and student interns in carbon cycling processes, blue carbon processes and contributions to the global carbon budget, effects of carbon cycling on climate impacts, and effects of climate impacts on coastal blue carbon storage and processes, and scientific research field and lab methods associated with soil science, stable isotope analysis, assessing carbon storage, greenhouse gas emissions, and carbon sequestration, as well as experimental design and data treatment and analysis.
