Community members help scientists and managers by identifying, photographing and reporting sightings of invasive marine seaweeds in California waters. CSG provides assistance with development of outreach materials for volunteers and associated trainings. Anyone can participate and program is statewide. Project is aimed at identifying the spread of aquatic invasives while also providing baseline information needed for guiding potential management actions.
